Project : INHP II & III
Integrated Nutrition and Health Project is supported by CARE India, CDC implemented this project in Balaghat and Seoni districts of Madhya Pradesh since last 2003 INHP Project supports ICDS and Health departments for improving their services, developed monitoring systems and skill of service providers for insuring health and nutrition services at the village level. We have completed this project Sept. 2008 with its specific strategy. INHP project was a unique project for organization, we have done lots of innovative efforts to reduce malnutrition IMR and MMR. All these efforts available with our different reports and Photo of fields.
Project CACE : PACS Programme
CACE [Collective Action for Community Empowerment ] project was implemented by CDC during April 2004 to Sept. 2008 in Baihar block of Balaghat district for empowerment of rural tribal women's through formation of SHG and small income generation activities. The project was supported by DFID India under PACS programme. The MC [Management Counsultant] DA [Development Alternatives] and PWC [Price Waterhouse Cooper Pvt.Ltd.] has been provided all technical and financial assistance to implement this project. The CACE project has been initiated all development activities in the project area, there are more than 70 SHG functioning and advocating different local issues. The project has made more than 1200 SHG women's functional literate
HIV/AIDS Awareness Project
Project on HIV/AIDS awareness has been implemented during Aug 2006 to July 2007, Funded by UNDP, NACO and INP Plus, under Innovation Fund
Project : SGSY
CDC is working with JILA PANCHAYAT BALAGHAT on SGSY scheme for formationa and management of SHG [Self Help Groups] of people living in BPL [Below Poverty Line]. We are working in BAIHAR and LALBURRA Blocks of Balaghat district.
TARAhaat Computer Centre
TARAhaat computer centre is a unit of CDC which provides quality computer education to youth, women and students with minimum cost. The centre is situated in small place called BAIHAR which is tribal dominated area.
HONEY Project
A short term project supported by Cottonwood Foundation USA for ensuring livelihood through skill improvement of Traditional Honey Hunter. The project focusing also on biodiversity conservation and livelihood.
NEAC
National Environment Awareness Campaign is supported by EPCO [Environment Protection and Coordination Committee] Organization continue promoting awareness of the rural community on evironmental issues i.e. Biodiversity, Solid Waste Management, climate Change etc.
CAMPAIGNS
CDC is organizing different campaigns i.e. NREGA, RTI, WADA NA TODA, GYSD etc. with the support of National and International organization.
TI Project
CDC has been empanelled by MPSACS [MP State Aids Control Society] to implement TI [Targeted Intervention] project in four Blocks of Balaghat district.
Conservation & Livelihood Project
CDC is implementing a project in Buffer zone area of Kanha National Park for integration of livelihood and conservation. A three year project in being implement in BALGAON and LAPTI village with 50 house holds. The project is supported by Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India and coordinating agency is WWF India. The project period is Jan. 2009 to Dec. 2011
